break

So I took a break from my job hunt from last Thursday until this past Tuesday to visit my lovelies at my old school (almost overstayed my visit haha).  I had a great time as always, went to games, a party, step show, Roscoe's, watched the grammy's...it was all good (except for sleeping on the floor haha) and until Valentine's Day but my friends made it better :) Although, I do think a caught a little bug because when I woke up Tuesday, my throat felt really weird and now my nose is stopped up, great. I don't take medicine but I will pop a Halls as quickly as possible. Speaking of health, I'm trying to become better at that so I think I'm either going to cut bread out of my daily consumption or just become a pescatarian (only eating fish for meat). I haven't actually figured out which one yet (you can't expect me to do both! haha BABY STEPS!) I'm sure I'll come to a decision soon.

Luckily, an acquaintance of mine who has a fashion internship hooked me up with a website to help find something. I believe none of them are paid but if I'm able to do that, gain experience, and still look for a paying job, it's like killing two birds with one stone.

I'm trying to go back to LA next wednesday to see Brandon Hines (beautiful voice, look him up) so hopefully I'll be able to.

so i haven't done this in a while mainly because my friends have be slacking HAHA jk no but i just haven't seen anything that's eye catching until just last week

i definitely just saw isaac mizrahi driving while i was walking home from zen sushi (since it is sushi tuesday and whatnot) and i had a heart attack. made eye contact and everything but didn't realize who it was til my ADD passed. like holy barf that was isaac mizrahi! haha i flipped out and sierra was like "what? WHAT?!" HAHA

and before that incident we were checking out this local spot that was just abandoned. it was a field of half flowers, half concrete. right next to the greyhound station. and there was a pile of wood taller than me & a disconnected railroad and a caboose looking thing. this place would be so awesome to have photo shoots at that could build my portfolio. Had some awesome ideas, can't wait. Here are a few:

i'm so excitedddd & i get to see [him]. it's sad that it's almost been a year. we met around this time august 9th =] we've been apart wayyy too long. you know not to be selfish but i wish people could know how it feels to be away from someone you potentially love for so long. i here people say "omg, i haven't seen him in [insert ridiculously short amount of time]" like two weeks or a month. well it's been 11 months for me on this exact day how lame. i'll be singing "reunited and it feels so gooood" haha and on the plane i'll be singing "i'm going going, back back, to cali cali" lol niiice i know. when i got my plane ticket i felt like a kid at christmas, is what i've been telling everyone. and it's the truth. it's sad how people you love can't be with you 24/7 or you can only see them once a year and i'm not just talking about significant others, i mean family, and friends who care. but on the bright side at least i get to see them because i know plenty of people who aren't even able to do that. so i am grateful to have the oppurtunity and blessed to have people that love me surround me in their spirits. =]

ever feel as if you are destined to be in one place yet you have no specific plan or idea of how to achieve that destiny? yeaa that's me.

i feel that I am meant to be in the social surroundings of the media, fashion, action. whatever it may be i know that I do need to figure out a precise plan and start trying to check everything off of my to-do list.

sorry i haven't been consistent. lately i've been busy with a few things:
-sat subject tests..scores are in didn't do all that bad..
-part time job at nc a&t..getting pizzaid. but it's still school. womp.
--> wow. that's interesting the things administrators have to do to encourage young black scholars to be interested in a transportation program. (pay them to work). it's cool though, i'm meeting new people, learning about the transportation business (not very known in our society & they get paid BIIIG bucks. research it)
-finishing health class for highschool credit..did the tests now i have to do 2 essays on std's and alcohol...should be interesting and easy.
-met my new next door neighbor she's pretty cool..pictures soon (going to a concert on the 15th)
-speaking of concerts, I went to the beyonce concert. uh-mazing. more than i expected. pictures for that too. or just check my facebook.

basically it..but i want to do so much by aug 3 it's ridiculous. i'll post my looong to do list (for the summer) later. after that i have to devise a plan for my career. what joy...

my goal is to go to l.a. aug 5. hence getting all summer hw done by the 3rd plus extra crap.

so if you know me. you know that i have a shoe fetish. no not a foot fetish (i hate feet.) and every fashionable heel i see, they're are super expensive but i reminded myself that there is this site called gojane.com =] and every shoe is under 25 bux..don't quote me on that. but they have sandals, heels, wedges, clothes, accesories. everything. love it! you will see a purple strappy heel somewhere below from there =]

+went to joann's to get fabric and such for the fashion show
+got a chair from salvation army to paint for upcoming art project

+started writing again..as you can see from previous post.
+can't decide between a "normal" college or an hbcu..hmm not thinking about race fo r4 yrs..sounds like a good thought..yet i like diversity =/ tough decision. have until may to figure it out.
+went to the movies on sat. w. trina and jordan saw fast and furious. fun..met up at the mall w. adrian good timmesss (pics coming soon)
+bought new boots. only 15 bux! i seriously saved the economy by buying those shoes haha
